About

Thanks for visiting my blog!  My name is Emily and I'm a 6th year teacher in Utah.  Most of my teaching experience has been in Kindergarten and First Grade, but I spent my very first year teaching in Taiwan, where I had the chance to teach 3rd grade at a private English school. When I returned to the States I spent a few years teaching at an exceptional private school before transitioning to a charter school.  This year I'm teaching first grade and I love it.  I just finished my Masters degree and am excited to have more time to invest in creating teacher products!
I'm married to THE most wonderful husband in the world.  I absolutely adore him (is it obvious?).  We love to travel and together we've visited Taiwan, Thailand, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Japan.  We have no kids yet, but we do have a cute kitty that I rescued from the jaws of my parents dog.  She was a 2-week old stray kitten when the dog got ahold of her and was fighting her mom in the trees behind my parents home. When we recovered her from his mouth she wasn't hurt at all - just slobbery!  Ironically enough, we never intended to get a cat and had been considering adopting a dog, but now we're hooked.
We are happy and grateful for all that God has blessed us with.

Feel free to contact me with any questions!

  5. I sent you an email yesterday to your tangledwithteaching@hotmail.com email about an item that I purchased on TPT. I know you are probably busy this time of year, but I was wondering if you had a chance to look at it.
